Ikea Return policy?
Will they take back something without a receipt?
DH and I bought some small area rugs and a set of runners there a few weeks ago but we want to return them (still in packaging) and of course I can't find the receipt.
DH called and they've said it's a 90 day return policy but we need the receipt. If I paid with AmEx, is there anything I can do? I don't need $300 worth of these rugs that don't fit in my hallway.

Ikea Return policy?
I'd call the store--likely they'd give you back store credit at the lowest selling price.

Thanks - their store policy (Hicksville) is to either give you store credit for lowest purchase price or not accept it without a receipt.
I called their customer service line and got through to a supernice woman. I explained what we bought, why we need to return it, and she graciously said she'd help to generate a new receipt and authorize a return. They asked for our credit card info, date of purchase, plus exact purchase price charged to the credit card and said they'll email us a new receipt within 48 hours for us to bring back to the store with the merchandise. She even gave me a case number to reference in case we don't receive the email. Thank goodness!!
