I'm a little sad re: Baptism and my sil..
We asked DH's brother to be the godfather today... and my sister to be the godmother... both said yes.. but I am feeling kinda bad because I really wish I could have my sil (dh's brother's wife) also... we have become sooo close and I love her like a sister... I wish I could have both her and my sister!! I know she understands cause she's really awesome like that and I told her that the "god-willing" next child is definitely hers... but I still feel like I wish I could have included her as well!
Oh well, just wanted to vent...

why can't you have 2 godmother's???
I already asked the priest, and he said that we could only have one...
ETA- I just searched for posts on this and apparently my church is not the only one that wont allow more than one godparent of each sex.

i hear you...i am having my own issues with chosing godparents---there are just too many loving people around!! The persons I cant chose this time, will hopefully be the godparents for my next child....I hate hurting people, but if you can only chose 2, what can you do?

Wow that is unusual. I have a friend who goes to a very conservative church & she was allowed to have 2 of each....
