I'm a Mom!!!
I'm not a huge poster on here, but just wanted to brag that I gave birth to my beautiful  on 3/26. She is a perfect little angel and we are completely in love with her! She gave us a surprise visit a few days early - I was due 4/4 with a scheduled c-sect date of 3/30, but at 4:30am on 3/26 my water broke, and by 10am we were holding our little princess!. DH and I were so shocked and excited we were bumping into each other trying to get out of the house to get to the hospital. The whole thing was just amazing and has brought DH and I even closer than I ever thought we could be to each other. Motherhood is an amazing gift and I am so loving the experience!!
It's been a hard couple of weeks though - I came down with a bacterial infection in my colon which it turns out is caused by the antibiotics they give during a c-section to prevent infection at the incision site. My Dr said in very rare cases it causes this infection I have because it kills both the good and bad bacteria in your colon. I have been so sick and almost was hospitalized, but thankfully I am getting better now. the only positive side is that from being sick I lost 24 of the 28 lbs I put on during my pregnancy already.

Congrats! I am sorry about your bacterial infection. I get them from antibiotics too & they are not fun
