I'm annoyed at my Friend. (sorry, vent)
I try to be so nice to her and not end our friendship after so many years, even though everyone tells me that she is no friend. But I am a glutton for punishment.
This am I speak to her and tell her my dh surprised me with a new phone a Mororola Q. I know he paid about 170.00 for it, and Verizon (our svce) has it on sale for about 80.00 with a new contract, but my contract is not up until January and we weren't eligible.
Anyway, so I tell her that my dh surprised me with this and her response "Is he an as*hole because verizon has them on sale, I hope he didn't spend more on it than they are selling it for." I didn't tell her how much it was - its none of her business, but why does she have to do that? There are times I question why I am still friends with her.

I'd be PO'ed about the a$$hole part, but it sounds like she just didn't want him to get screwed by Verizon?
