Im bored...any pg moms with questions for a already mom
I dont claim to suddenly be an expert, but DS is now 5 months old....any questions on labor or birth or something that I can shed some light (my own light) on? TMI questions are welcome bc any sense of modesty when it comes to pg, labor and birth go right out the window once youve had a baby, lol.

Actually yes, where did your DS sleep during the day?
I will have the bassinett in my room during at the night and the baby will sleep with us, but during the day where did DS sleep?
I just got a pack-n-play from my baby shower and I know that is for downstairs? Does the baby sleep in that?

Re: Im bored...any pg moms with questions for a already mom
his bassinet had wheels, so when he slept during the day adn be ready, that is ALL they will do, I wheeled the bassinet into the living room. I also wanted him to get used to the noise so we didnt have to tip toe around him and he was just always used to sounds when he is sleeping. Anyway, in my house the living room is central so I could keep an eye on him from most places.
The PnP downstairs would work fine.

My bassinet does have wheels, but we have a 2 story house.
Is the pack-n-play better for when the baby is older. Should I use the infnt rocker downstairs instead?

its hard to say....I maybe wouldve started using it earlier had I known. DS HATES his PnP and refuses to sleep in it, but maybe if I had gotten him used to it earlier, this would be a non issue. It doesnt really matter what you put him in as long as you guys are comfortabel with it.

I'm sure at 37 weeks they will give you potocin as long as you are contracting naturally. The potocin woudl just make them regular instead of sparatic. this is what I'm guessing. 37 weeks is usually a green light.
