I'm embarrassed to ask this.....but
During an IVF cycle (I just started stimming on Monday) is it alright to have normal 'relations' with my DH? To be honest, with all the hormones running through my system, the brusies all over my stomach and the bloating, I am not feeling rather romantic these days but I wasn't even sure if it was allowed. Could having sex mess anything up? (I was thinking it could interfere with my lining or hormone ratio)
Sorry if this sounds silly but I have no idea. TIA.

Absolutely. I just wouldn't do it the night before the retrieval.

Yeah, I agree and I would stop the day you do the trigger. (giving DH at least 2 days of abstinence but also make sure he hasn't gone longer than 5 days before ER, hard to plan that when you don't know what day you are triggering but do the best you can). I think its good to have relations because it doesn't feel as clinical and brings you both closer together (in all manner of speaking...lol).

I didn't feel like it either. However, I have heard (don't know where) that the endorphins your body gives off from having $ex actually increase the success rate of IVF.

I think you already got your answer, but I'll just add that the last thing my RE says after every appointment is whether or not intercourse is still "okay" - so I always love that because then we never have to ask!
