I'm looking for a Suffolk-based computer related charity
A while back, I read about a charity (I think it was through a thread here) that's based out of Smithtown I believe, that services and refurbishes computers and gives them to senior citizens.
I have a few good computer parts that could be of use to a charity, but want it to be local, and go to people who need it.
Believe it or not, I'm having a hard time finding a good local charity because a lot of them want whole computers, but not parts. I'm not even sure the Salvation Army would take them. And Freecycle would be my last resort.
Does anyone know what charity this is that I'm talking about? Or another one that is local that can use these parts? (sound card, CD reader/burner, DVD reader/burner, floppy drive, IDE cables, power supply)
