I'm new here - just got a BFP!
Hi -
I've been reading all the posts for a while & only posted a few times, but I have to share this since I can't share with my family or friends yet! I had a m/c in June, so, I have to be quiet for a while. Thanks for listening!

thanks! I hadn't known about this site until recently when I went back on LI weddings to get info for a place for brunch. That site was so helpful when I was planning my wedding & so far, this one is just as great!

Thanks again, to all! I have to say, though, I didn't expect this so soon - I miscarried in June after what was an unexpected pregnancy - I had an IUD placed in me over 2 years ago - we didn't think we were going to have children (we have custody of his two teenage girls) and life seemed complete. The IUD didn't cause the m/c, however, I thought it would have scarred my uterus making it difficult to conceive once they removed it. (it was removed when they did the D&C). Plus, I'm 39 and my DH is 48! So..... to all those TTC - even if the odds seem against you - keep positive. It will happen when it's time.
