Im not friends with my fertility "friend" anymore
This was my first month temping. I just put in todays temp, and it tells me I ovulated three days ago, on CD 8!! Now I am 3 DPO. I had a 34 day cycle last month, so I was going to start OPK this week, around CD 12.
Is it right?
I totally feel like learning to speak Russian might be easier than all of this.

Change your ovulation detector to OPK.

 That is funny!
This will be my second month TTC and I haven't done any temping or used any OPKs. I am just following doctors orders and counting the first day of my . as day 1 and BD'ing on days 12, 14, & 16. If nothing happens in the next few months I will resort to these other methods. But I agree with you, it seems like there is a lot to learn. It might be easier to learn to speak another language before learning all the ins and outs of TTC!!!
I am also hoping not to stress myself out with this too much!

was there another possible reason for your temp to raise the past few days? are your cycles typically around 34 days? if you can tell by other fertility signs that you haven't O'd then I would start the OPKs and continue to temp. FF may change the date or the OPK setting may analyze your chart better. feel free to post the chart, if you want.

I wondered the same thing - is there another reason why your temp may have risen? Did you take your temp later, get up before taking it, traveling, etc? FF might change the date as you enter more information.

I temp everyday at the same time, laying in bed. I keep it on my night table, I dont even have to walk to the bathroom.
I took an OPK, just to see, and got a positive for the first time. I entered the info, and my calendar totally changed.
I guess we are friends again.
