I am going for a spinal tap on Friday and I am absolutely petrified.. This should be the last of the invasive tests they are doing to me to try and figure out how and why I developed Diabetes Insipidus (it's called water diabetes and my pituitary gland isn't producing the hormone that concentrates the urine in my kidneys.. making me reallllllly thirsty and pee all the time)..
So if you can spare a small prayer or two, I would appreciate it.. I will update after the procedure and let you know how I am!!

Update.. Everything went SO smoothly.. I didn't feel a thing and the Dr. was really great.. He gave me a local shot of Lidocane and was poking around asking me if I could feel anything and I said no and he said the needle was already in.. Took a few more minutes to collect the fluid and I was all done.. now I have to wait like 2 weeks for the results..
I am home now after going to eat at the diner (I was starving afterwards) and I am just going to relax and get pampered by my mother and my husband!!
