Re: I'm scared of driving.

Ugh, I know how you feel. I haven't driven in over 2 years because of anxiety when driving. I am working on starting again but I am just so scared of crashing and killing my children.
I have to drive everyday to/from work BUT since I had DS......lets just say I totally understand how you feel. I have so much anxiety in the car now and I feel like I'm overly cautious sometimes. I've become a much more nervous driver since he came along. I take the SS pkwy to work everyday.....and I drive in the right lane at 55mph or less.

What scares me about this is that so many people are claiming to be nervous drivers and may be causing some hazards on the road.
Please take a few courses and get some confidence so you are able to drive with confidence.
Driving too cautious can be a detriment on the road as well.
I am thinking the same thing...
More accidents happen on local roads, 5 mins from home then on highways.
Remember, you control the car, not the other way around
While I completely agree my concerns are the wreckless drivers who dont give a damn. I feel like I have to be extra cautious b/c of them. I've been rear ended twice while I was already STOPPED at a red light.....both serious enough to have to see a doctor. And I was side swiped by someone while minding my own business. He went to change lanes and "claimed" he didnt see me. Just makes me nervous
