I'm so done with work... need suggestions

I'm only 33 weeks but cannot make it through 8 hours a day at my job anymore. I have a very physical job and there is no "lite duty". Do you think my Dr. would write a note stating I could start my leave early? I get 3 months paid maternity leave and although I'd obviously rather have more time with the baby, I'm not entirely sure I'm going back yet. Do you think they would be suspicious if I went out so early?

All I know is that I feel like a zombie. I don't know what to do

If your doctor writes you a note putting you out on disability, it would be difficult for your co to dispute it.

One of our employees was unable to travel (our guys are on the road 70-80% of the time.) and we couldn't accomodate her with a local project. She was put out on disabilty and used up her some of her FMLA by going out early. She had to return to work after 6 weeks. It broke my heart to not be able to help her out.

I, on the other hand, was able to work from home after 36 weeks. It wasn't required but since I had gone 6 weeks early with my first pregnancy - everyone was nervous about my traveling to the city for 1-1/2 hours.. Good thing I listened since I had Maddie 7 minutes after I got to the hospital.
