No, but let me know how it is. I have it and it's been in the wrapper for the past two months. Chat Icon

I'm starting it this week. Chat Icon

The only thing I really saw on reviews was to switch the workouts. Don't keep doing the same one like they tell you on the video. You need to shock you muscles and you don't want them to get used to the same routine.

You only need hand weights. Nothing else. I must say it is day 2 and Jillian has denfinitely kicked my arse.

Re: I'm so excited...I just bought the 30 day shred!

I am doing level 1 of level 3. It is a 20 minute workout. This is the format she uses:

-Brief warmup
-Then she does 3 6 minute sessions with each session focusing on 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio, 1 minute abs.
-She then does a cool down.

In the DVD she has 2 people working out with her - 1 for beginners which shows you easier moves and 1 for more advanced.

As far as push ups, yes, there is 2 30 second sessions of push-ups. I, however, cannot do 1 real one. I have to do the simplified version which she shows you. I do this with difficulty after a few seconds.

As far as the moves are concerned, they are not difficult moves, its more that after about 10 seconds of repetitiously doing the same movement you really start to feel it.

Today is Day 3 and I have no idea how I am going to do it with how sore I feel!!!

I just ordered this also. How many pound hand weights should I get? I have 8 but I think that may be too much.

Everyone sells it. I saw it at Costco for $8.50.

As far as weights are concerned...I am definitely a light weight. I started using 3 lb weights and will work my weigh up to 5 lbs...etc. I think it depends on you personally.

Re: I'm so excited...I just bought the 30 day shred!

I have wanted to do this for so long ... but I just hear that it kicks your arse and I know that I would give up after 1 day of it. If I did it, I could never do it every day. Ever. I'm really bad with that kind of stuff. It sounds hard and I will just give up if I think it's too much.

I felt the same way. If it was WAY too hard there is no way I would be able to do it everyday. This workout is alittle different though. The moves are fairly simple.... nothing complicated. It's just that the next day you will feel sore as hell. That is the hard part about it though....doing it the next day when you are sore. Give it a shot. We can all do it together. I am on Day 4 and it is still challenging but I can feel my muscles starting to adapt.
