Im so sad..

So I left work to a voicemail from my sister. Our rottie is dying.

Apparently my mom took her to the vet today because she hasn’t been eating and has been acting weird and they think she has a cancerous mass around her heart. My mom has to take her back tomorrow for some tests to be sure, but if its as bad as they think they might put her to sleep. I am so sad. They got her on my 18th bday and saturday I will be 26. She doesn’t even look old and she has never really been sick. My mom said her one eye is filled with blood and that she hasn’t been sleeping in my parent sroom all week. The vet told her they do that to distance themselves from the “pack” before they die

I guess I should go over there later and say goodbye just in case. This SUCKS!!!!!

I am so sad and I don't know what to do!!!

***UPDATE****
So My mom took her for the tests but apparently they needed to wait to get the results. The vet wanted to see her again this morning and he said that they might have the results by tonight, but since it is my bday, my mom said she will call Mon am for the results cause she doesnt want the whole weekend to be sad. She is not in any pain and seems to be just sleeping a lot so if we do need to make a decision, it will better be done after spending the weekend with the whole fam

We lost our Rottie to cancer two months ago, so I know how you are feeling. I'm so sorry.
