I'm starting to get really excited about it being twins Updated w/ sono pic
I just hope I see 2 strong heartbeats at my next appt. Please give me lots of and ..... Twin mommies; Did you see 2 sacs early on and then continue to have 2 healthy babies??

I had 2 sacs at 5 weeks and 2 yolks at 7 weeks with 1 heartbeat at 8 weeks both babies doubled in size at 9 weeks one still didn't have a hb at 12 weeks I lost the one without a hb.
I hope both stick for you, but its extremly common this early in the game to have 2 but only one makes it. My ob said most people don't get a sono before 8 or 9 weeks so they don't even know they had 2

im not a twin mommy. but thats because we did have 2 sacs early on (we did IVF and put bakc 2 embryos). one was larger than the other and one had a heartbeat and one did not. the one without the heartbeat stayed small and was there til over 20w but never developed. the other sac is my 4m old DD!!
IMO seeing the heartbeats is much more important than seeing the sacs. good luck to you!!! twin dust

and not to be a Debbie Downer, but seeing the heartbeats unfortunately doesn't guarantee that you will end up with two babies either.
With my first pregnancy, we had twins from 6 weeks and saw HBs every week until week 9 when we lost one of the babies.

I know this all to well b/c my first pregnancy was fraternal twins, one was a lot smaller and i mc that one before i saw the hb and the other one had a very low hb.. i had a lot of bleeding and cramming the hole time and by 8 weeks that baby was gone, it stopped goring at 6 weeks but held on for a while with a low hb.. im just hoping that this time with be different
