I'm sure the answer to this is"don't worry"..asking anyway LOL

I'm 23 weeks today. The baby has been very active for the past 3-4 weeks. On Sun it was so active I could actually see my belly move where it was kicking. Since Mon I have felt little movement with much less intensity. I would say a significant amount since it is usually active all day. I've had a really stressful week and concerned that something is going on. My next OB appt is next Thurs. Should I call or let it go?

I had OJ this morning, felt baby maybe 2 times, usually it would be constant for like 10 mins at least...

THis is just what I would do and I'm sure others woudl do the opposite.

As long as I was feelign movement then I wouldnt worry. They do sleep a lot in there so there will def be times when you won't feel anything.

Others may say call the Dr. But I wouldn't worry.

I am sure baby is just fine, you are feeling some movement. Also, I was dealing with a very stressful project at work and working a ton and then went right into busy season which was worse than norma, i was crazy for 2 monthsl.... when I mentioned it to my dr he said my stress has not effect on the baby.

You're feeling movement when you're paying attention. I bet you're feeling movement even when you're distracted. Everything is fine if baby is moving.

I'm 23 weeks as well and there are times where the baby is sleeping or just not active. It's fine.Chat Icon

I wouldn't be concerned if I felt movement. The baby could've turned and is now facing your back which may result in less force to you when they kick/punch.

i had the same concern earlier on and didnt call my doctor...but spoke to her about it at my appt. she said it can be either that the baby sleeping more and moving less or i wasnt feeling it bc i have other things on my mind at work

my doctor said to feel 5 movements within one hour of eating and as long as i do, not to worry
good luck

I posted something similar the other day. At like 25-26w I had a few days of very little activity, but I could still feel the baby here and there. A few days later the baby was moving constantly. To the point it kept me awake at night. As long as you feel some movement I probably wouldn't worry - I think they just have some lazy days.

You're probably fine, but you know your body best. Call the doctor if you're concerned -- they will probably have you come in for an NST (nonstress test) and sonogram to make sure.

I had little movement around 30ish weeks and I was concerned. I wasn't going to call the doctor, but one of my friends talked me into it. I'm glad I did though. It made me feel a lot better and I got to see LO again! I went in for an NST and a sonogram. I found out LO was breech and that's why I wasn't feeling him as much. They told me when he was moving and asked if I could feel it, but I couldn't because of his position. It made me not worry as much. He turned around 34-35 weeks and I felt him a lot more after that! Also, when I was there, they told me to drink some OJ and then lay down. I should feel 5 movements within 1 hour. If I didn't, then I should start another hour and try to count 5 more movements. If I didn't feel anything after 2 hours, they wanted me to call back.

Good luck!
