Imagine This As I Sit Here Waiting for My FET...
When I met with my RE months ago who came from my old place, East Coast Fertility he told me that I should transfer all of my embryos left (3) because based on quality I had less than a 1% chance of them taking. Fast forward to this very moment. I'm sitting here waiting to see if all three were thawed successfully and he just comes out and says we just thawed one that was a refreeze from two I had thawed three years ago that resulted in a MC. He said it lost no potency and looks great, it's a BB. He then proceeds to say I didn't realize that these embryos were just when you were under. 35 so they hold great potential. I said what, you knew me-my age and you told us to transfer 3 now. He's like oh no, too risky. OMG- he has to get his shit together! I said I want to transfer at least two and he said if you're sure but you can very well have twins. I said I want to go for it. He said give the lab. 25 minutes to thaw the two that were frozen together. One was an early blast and one a BA hatching blast. He said he'll use the BA and refreeze the early blast but see overnight if it develops more and worth the refreeze.
If you got this far, I am shaking my head at his sloppiness and not being on top of this and changing his story and plans! So, two blastocysts it is!

wait didn't u have a meeting with him at the beginning of FET to go over the plan? how did he all of a sudden decide on 1 all by himself??? wtf?

Yes, of course we did. Talked several times about it! He's obviously overworked! My husband keeps saying to calm down and now focus on the two we're transferring. I'm still pissed at this situation!

I'm still pissed about this!!! I know drs are human and people make mistakes but come on!!!
It won't matter in the end bc it's gonna work and all will be forgiven
