Impatient
Hi girls, so I have to wait several months before trying to conceive again since I was given the methotrexate injection. Also it is based on what happens with my consultation with Dr. Kofinas and want my immune blood work shows. Even though technically I could start trying again in December, the hubby and I decided we would wait a little bit longer just so that everything is out of my system and I give my body a chance to heal, so we will start trying again in early spring. I thought I would be okay with taking a break for several months, and I thought it would be a good opportunity for me to not feel the pressure of going through another few cycles of trying to conceive, charting my temperature, taking crinone, and all that jazz. But it is on my mind constantly. Especially when I see other pregnant women and when the topic comes up either at work or outside of work. I guess I am just venting. It is hard not to think about it since it is a strong desire that the hubby and I have. I guess I will just have to do my best to be patient and see what unfolds in the months to come. Thanks for listening!

It sucks taking time off, but sometimes it's EXACTLY what you need. I have a good friend who is now preggo with her first and it took them 3 years and in that time I am shocked to share they did nothing with regard to IF treatment. It totally sucks but sometimes it just takes time.

Thanks girls. I KNOW the break is needed but I didn't think it would get to me so!! Maybe it'll start getting easier. I guess it's good I have a busy job at least!

I took a break between IVF #1 and FET and am now 7 weeks preg. Best thing I did. Let me get over failed cycle, get another test that discovered a polyp, start on a diet that promotes fertility, got into Pilates and just generally enjoyed my summer. Not sure I would have gotten BFP if I didn't do that.
