in addition to diaper bag... silly question
do you ladies also have a small bottle bag? Do you find it necessary to have one of those as well?

I don't only bc my diaper bag has insulated pockets where the bottles go.

YES! Make sure you have one of them. I have three...different sizes depending on where I am going. They have a playtex one that has freezer packs built in, which is great and it has a long strap for carrying. Even when I just run out for a few hours I have to bring it...the babies eat every 3-4 hours..sometimes sooner.

I won't be getting one... Currently we have 2 diaper bags...one which has a million pockets which will be perfect for the bottles and anything else we'll need. Then, DH got one that he claims is more manly...plain black...but has no pockets...so it will be interresting to see how organized his is... LOL
I say if yours doesn't have a ton of pockets or place to put bottles, then go ahead and get a bottle bag as well.

I do. I used it for going on trips where I would be out of the house for an extended period of time. I pumped, so BM has to be kept cold.
I have friends that FF and they didn't need it because they would give the bottle at room temperature.

i have 3 and I use them all!
1) the free similac one - holds 2 bottles and 2 ice packs. I've had bottles stay cold for 8 hrs in there!
looks like this:
2) a built neoprene one - holds 2 bottles, no ice pack. will keep refrigerated bottles above room temp for about 2 hours.
3 ) (one of my most exciting Christmas gifts this year!) a black one, similar to the similac bag but larger. it holds 6 bottles, 2 ice packs AND has a compartment on top for another ice pack and babyfood! 
I pre-make all of the bottles for DS' babysitter and always send an extra, just in case. The last bag is perfect for my daily use!
