Dh and I went to Kohls to buy some picture frames...We found a bunch of frames we liked, and had just picked up another one when we heard a couple next to us discussing the same frame.
Apparently this frame also came in a larger size, and they were discussing which one they should buy. DH asked them where they saw the larger one, since we would would be interested in that one too. The husband replied that they had gotten the last of the larger size, (but we overheard them discussing it and it looked like they were going to get the smaller one).
My Dh jokingly said, oh, if you're not going to get the larger one, then maybe we can work out a bargain...The husband said, yeah, you got a dollar? We both laughed, and he said, no, I'm serious...and then they wandered off.
We noticed they didn't have a cart, and they weren't carrying the frame. 
We went back to shopping, and about 10 minutes later I picked up another frame, and lo and behold, behind that one was the larger one we were looking for...apparently they hid it!!! Just at that moment, the wife came back over and saw us holding the larger frame (I'm laughing as I type this), and gave us the NASTIEST look ever!!!  She stood there eyeing us for at least 5 minutes to see if we would put it back...
DUH!!!! If you wanted the frame and you knew it was the last one, you should have held onto it, or at least hidden it better!!!
SCORE!!!!

Not a big deal or anything, but we wanted to do 2 smaller ones with our parents and us, and the larger one with us and our bird

that frame is adorable! I kinda want to buy it and we are not even TTC nor have a kid!
And those people sound like huge idiots. They should have picked it up and walked around with it-- especially after talking to you!
I would have probably even purchased it even if I was still unsure-- in case they didn't have anymore when I finally made my decision-- you can always return it. But I am totally neurotic.
