The Thriller video. I'm not really a fan of Michael Jackson or the song, but I remember the big build-up to the video and I remember being scared while watching it.

I LOVED this show! MTV used to be so good. I LOVED when the Real World first came out - but now they have overdone it.

at the music video awards when Nirvana was playing and the bass player Chris "I can never spell or say his last name" threw up his base in the air and it landed on his head and staggered and fell to the floor.
When they finished the song Dave Grohl got up and said "hi axel, hi axel"
it was sooo funny.
I think this was 92?

My favorite moment was ODB cashing his welfare checks by driving up in a limo with mtv following behind.
A close 2nd was when my brad pitt obsessed sister was picked off the street to go up to trl to meet him. We were at home watching and flipping out!!
ohhh...just remembered another one. The first Rock and Jock b-ball game. Donnie and Marky Wahlberg both played

Adam Curry's hair and ill-fitting leather jacket before the got a real host for Headbanger's Ball.
Dial MTV - the daily countdowns that consisted of VIDEOS and no screaming teenagers.

I heart them...I saw Marky-Mark & the Funky Bunch in concert 5 times. And I was a huge Donnie fan from 1988 on.
Also - I remember back in the summer of 99 when Joe McIntyre was on TRL all the time enough people voted for Hangin' Tough or The Right Stuff to be in the top 10 requested videos.
