In honor of Sienna turning 2 this month (and because I finished it early)... her video montage!
12 more days and she's TWO!!!!!!
Since I didn't do any kind of 1 year montage, I did one for the first 2 years of her life. All videos!
I worked pretty hard on it, probably the last 2 months an hour or so a few nights a week to get it to go perfectly with the music. We had so many videos of her so it was hard to narrow them down, take pieces of each one and fit them all into 4 mins & 12 secs, but I think it came out pretty good.
I'm waiting to post it on FB b/c I want to show it at her party first, but had to share it here! 
The song is "Dog Days are Over" by Florence + The Machine.

You did an AMAZING job!!! What a great, adorable video!! She is just too cute!!!  
I seriously got a little misty eyed here. My DD is going to be 2 in October and that little clip really summed it up for me...it goes so fast!!!

I smiled the WHOLE way through it. I love that your DH always teases her with food, cracked me up! lol You can FEEL the love in that video.
How did you narrow it down to 4 minutes?!!! I need to do something with Joey's videos but I don't know where to start!!! What did you use? (imovie? iDVD?)

I used iMovie, it was really easy to work with but definitely took me a while to put the whole thing together.
It was overwhelming at first because I had hundreds of videos and wanted them to fit into that 4:12 legth of song (didn't want it too long and drawn out) but here is how I kinda did things...
-found the song
-uploaded all the videos we had of her into iMovie
-chose my favorite 5-10 seconds of each video
-put them in age order
-realized 5-10 seconds of each was way too long so narrowed most of them down to 2-3 seconds
-then put them so they flowed with the music (some videos ended up being less than 2 secs, some were 4/5 secs, etc)
It did take me a good month or two of working on it at night to get it perfect. It was tedious getting some of the parts to go with the beat of the music but I wanted it that way... you may not be as anal as I was.

That just made my day! I really need to take more video of my DD.. Im embarressed to say we have like 2-3 videos since she was born and she is gonna be 1 this month

That was ADORABLE!!!!!!
My favorite parts were her dancing...when she very carefully put the blanket on her baby-then proceeded to beat the baby and the 'cheer's' with the tea cups. So cute!

Thanks and it's funny b/c a few just fell into place like that when I first started and I'd be like Oh that's perfect there! and then just work around it. But most I knew where I wanted them to go in the song.

Thanks, I was so focused on getting everything to fit within the song that I didn't really cry during the making of it. But watching the whole thing through (especially when I show other people) I can't help but cry.
