In need of some serious prayers!!!!!!! Update 10/15/08
My cousin's boyfriend was in a motorcycle accident last night. He is in horrible shape. He was in cardiac arrest for 20 minutes, one side of his ribs are completely broken, he bruised his lungs and heart, and the car that hit him was on top of his neck. It was an older woman who didn't see him and wound up hitting him. My cousin was driving in front of him because she refused to ride on his motorcycle.
I can't imagine what my cousin is going through. They have been together 5 years, so he is practically a part of the family.
PLEASE keep him in your prayers!!!!!!
Update: Today the swelling on his brain went down and his blood pressure went down (it was high)- a good sign. Keep the prayers coming!
Update #2: Joey passed away this morning. He had no brain activity as of last night and passed on his own. Thank you so much for all of your prayers.
Update #3: He's still alive. Apparently my family is messing up their information. He's on life support and his parents have 72 hours to make the decision to take him off, so they will be running two tests to determine what to do. I will keep you all updated, it doesn't look good, but miracles happen! Keep up those prayers!
Update 10/15: Joey passed away this afternoon. Thank you all for your prayers. I just pray for my cousin and Joey's family and all the pain and hurt they are going through, and hopes that Joey is looking down on us and is in a better place. Thank you so much for your support.
Newsday said he was in stable condition.. How is he doing?
Touch and go. He's in a drug-induced coma right now. I think they were going to do CT scans today to see if there's any brain damagae. Thanks for asking.
