In Shock, confused, cautious
So all my meds are here and AF should be here by yesterday or today so I can st2art on CD 2.
Yesterday, I decided to do an ovulation test cause last month I surged the day before AF came... RE said my body is just really confused in this perimenopausal state... so I wanted to see if it happened again. I did a cheapie Pregnancy test at the same time for no good reason... I got a BFP! I did a digital an hour later and another cheapie at night. Then this morning i did another one of each... ALL 5 testes... BFP.
I am in such shock..... I refuse to be excited cause I know I had less than a 1% chance of conceiving on my own. I feel like this is a joke. I also know that I have poor egg quality so I am afraid to be too optimistic.
Just thought I should share... if this is real this is truly a miracle.
Update 6/18 AM:
Had blood taken this morning before work... they should have results this afternoon.... 8 out of 8 BFPs from saturday through this morning, 3 digitals, the rest cheapies!
UPDATE 6/18 pm:
Confirmed!!!!!!!! Beta 384, progesterone 29. Lining looks great!!!!! Holy crap!!!!! RE was shocked almost in tears!

I am still in shock... as DH says... all day yesterday after it happened I look like I saw a ghost. I mean my chances were 1% or less!!!
I am going to call them tomorrow and go in then... didn't think they would see me on a weekend... although I probably could have shown up at REs office this morning during their monitoring hours.
This is so so so crazy.

This is amazing news!!I hope this is it!! I would just go in tomorrow morning during monitoring and tell the nurses, they will run the beta!! Good luck!

i am keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you!
call your RE and have them do bloodwork to confirm the pregnancy!
and just because you were told you had poor egg quality doesn't mean that the one that sticks isn't 100% grrreat!
