What is your perfect nursery....not too far off from what you are really doing....


Our Twin "jungle" nursery
We are using our computer room for the boys while we are in this house. Until we move they will share a crib (we have the 2nd one in its box in storage)....There are built in shelves on one wall so the desk part will now become our upstairs changing station. Got a skid free changing pad and also there is a lip ont he shelf so they cannot roll off! On one wall we will have a mural. Its 8x13 LOL and its a safari scene....all black and white and it has elephants,zebras,lions ( all the same animals in bedding!) The other 3 walls will either be a sage/khaki green or chocolate! We are going for a chic baby nursery. Didn't want anything too pastel...too primary colors....and i HATE character themed rooms..JMO.....I love how they look but they are NOT our style at all.! Bedding is NOJO Jungle Tales. Flooring is now carpet but we hate it so its coming up and we are putting down pergo.. Just int hat room and hallway ..it really wasn't expensive at all. DH is installing it himself..that should be fun LOL. The bookshelves are going to be filled with books.....some toys...2 HUGE lion and monkey stuffed animals DH bought for them. SO what will your nursery look like in your mind?

I made up a collage a while ago that shows how I want the nursery to look.

Blues, beiges and lavenders with a dandelion mural or wall sticky thing. Just very calm and serene



Another idea I like is a forest creatures nursery...kinda like bambi only NOT disney. With owls and leaves and squirrels and flowers.

I haven't made anything for that one


We haven't even started to TTC yet and I'm already baby crazy!

Mine is grown up and preppy and plaid or stripes for a boy -
And very feminine and frilly for a girl -

i love al the pics from your nursery collage. We wanted the same vibe but did go with the jungle bedding.....its in my album and its not cheesy or really kiddy at all.. the dust ruffle is a chocolate with polka dots...its browns..blues..oranges...very much our colors...The computer room is seen as soon as you enter our 2nd floor so I wanted it to blend in well....He's "handy" but i am sure this will turn into a project...always does LOL....we also have 2 bassinets in our room. The 2 rooms are literally maybe 80 feet away but I know DH and he will be alot more helpful in the middle of the night if the baby is super close....requiring him to get up would diminish my chances of hima ctually coming out of his sleep coma LOL....We have a good size master bedrom thank god because we have 1 dresser...1 armoire ..2 bassinets.....and a few floor decoratrions we have..oh and 3 dogs LOL....this is going to be a blast!
