Indigestion while sleeping? Need ideas please!!

Is anyone else getting this? I've had it happen a couple of times but last night was by far the worst. It hits me while I'm sleeping. I'll wake up with burning in my throat and chest and if I burp I get that acid coming up, sorry TMI. I also then feel very nauseous from all of it. It's just so horrible.

Last night it was so bad that I couldn't sleep and then I started having problems breathing from it. If I got 2 hours of total sleep last night I'd be shocked. I just don't know what's causing this and I am seriously scared to go to bed tonight because the pain last night was just awful.

Any ideas? Please help! I can't have another night like last night.

Its happened to me just a few times. I usually prop myself up with pillows (almost completely sitting up) and that seems to help.

I keep tums by the bed!

I do both of those things! I keep Tums by my bed & sleep propped up. I hate it!

I get this every night and honestly nothing works for me.

if you get comfortable sleeping sitting up then you can prop yourself up at night but for me I can't sleep that way no matter what and I get the indigestion on a nightly basis ... it really *****

Yup, I get that almost every night and I HATE it!!! I feel so sick when I get that.
