Infant dislikes new food, do I prepare a new meal?
My 7.5 month refused to eat broccol the first time i offered it to her. She seemed to really hate it. She tried a few bites, but just seemed revolted.
Do I prepare a new meal for her or just stop the feeding?

Is her meal ONLY broccoli? Or is she having broccoli and chicken or something like that? I would keep offering it, mix it with something else, another veggie, a meat, some cheese.

I mixed it with oatmeal, but that is a good idea to mix it with other foods that she likes. She is not up to meats and cheeses yet.
But during a particular meal, if she refuses a food because she dislikes it, should I start preparing something else to mix with the broccoli? Or just wait until next time?

Broccoli mixed with oatmeal sounds unappetizing. Maybe another veggie like sweet potatoes or something like that?
I'd keep offering it to her, they say it takes 10 tries to begin to like a new food.

DS likes most food, but didn't like most of the pureed green vegetables. He loves peas, steamed broccoli, etc as table food though. If DS doesn't like something or refuses food, I'll usually give him something else like yogurt, cheese or applesauce.

If you already mixed it with the oatmeal then I would just make her new oatmeal...and try the broccoli again at a later time. Formulsa/BM is still their primary source of nutrition so I wouldn't worry about giving her a whole new meal.
