Infant Feeding

Can you please let me know the approximate amount of milk/formula your DS/DD are eating each day and how old they are?

DD is 7.5 weeks old and is eating 4 oz every 4 hrs.

My DD is 8 weeks old and drinks 3-4 oz every 3 hours during the day and 2-3 oz during the night. Sometimes she'll drink 5 oz during the day but not often. Sometimes I worry that she doesn't get enough (20-24 oz per day) but she seems to be growing well although she is on the small side (15-20th percentile).

Andrew is 10 weeks old and is now averaging 8 oz every 3 hrs. Sometimes he has up to 10 ounces. Yesterday we started rice cereal because he is drinking soo much formula.

DS is 9 weeks and has 5-6 oz every 3-4 hours.

DD is 3 months old. She takes 6oz for her first and last bottles of the day, and the rest of the time she has 4-5 ounces every 3-4 hours. The doc said at this age she should be getting 25-29 ounces per day, based on her current weight.

When she was 6 weeks old they said about 24 ounces per day, but she never took that much. She usually had somewhere between 20-23 ounces per day.

Now she usually takes between 23-26 per day. Somedays it is more and then some days it is less.
