INFANT SEATS - how many already changed their registry's?
i did i had a travel system with safe seat and switched to a travel system with snugride... better to be safe than sorry!! it was $30 cheaper too...

If i had any of those seats on my registry, i sure as hell would change it, better be safe than sorry.
I have the snugride, DD is 8 months old and still in it.
NO rush for me to put her in the Britax Marathon huge seat.

someone already bought my infant seat, I had registered for the safe seat. After seeing the consumer report, I will be returning it for a snug ride.

Ha HA Ha. I just did this this morning when I got to work.
Interestingly enough, I think that the SafeSeats are on the newer travel systems b/c the one I switched to was less money, but the same brand.

i just deleted my safe seat, DH and I are going to look this weekend for a snug ride we like.
before that report came out, i had gone to babies R US to feel the difference between the 2. Though the safe seat fits a bigger baby, its an extra 3 pounds that your lugging around so i had wanted to get a snugride anyway.

We hadn't registered yet, but now our minds are made up on the Snugride (which was one of our top choices anyway!)
I just hope the stores don't start running out of them now!!!!

The Companion didn't do well- only the Graco Snugride and another brand passed this harder test by consumer reports.
