Spinoff from Car Seats: At what age did your child "graduate" from infant carrier...
...to regular car seat???

edited to say he was too long..not for the weight because he was skinny!

Michael is still in his infant seat and you know that he is 4 months old. My nephew is almost 6 months too and he just got a new seat for Xmas.

7 months and change and no sign yet of her growing out of it anytime soon.
She's a peanut! Her 6.5 month appt she was 15lbs and 25.5 inches long.
We still have 5lbs and 4.5 inches to go!
I like my carrier, she safest in there, no rush here to put her in a reg seat. Plus when she falls asleep in the car i don't have to wake her!

That's the one thing I hate about him being in the regular car seat... He ALWAYS falls asleep in the car and I feel bad waking him up when we get to our destination.

DS was 5 months (hit the height limit at 3.5 mo but he had room so we kept him in longer)

I just put Bella in the new one and she is 10 mts tomorrow! The weight restriction for my infant carrier is 22 lbs and she's only 17!
I'm glad I moved her! The fit was getting tight!

Sydney is 3 1/2 months and ready for a new one... we will probably go this weekend. She is long AND it seems to tight on her, we feel like we are breaking her arms to get her in that thing!

6 mos or so. Her feet were over the edge and even though she didn't hit weight we decided it was safer to take her out. Most babies hit the height requirement before the weight.

5 1/2 months and still in the carrier. I am not rushing it because she fits fine and I don't have the money for the new one yet. At her 5 month app. she was only 13lbs 10oz and 24" long so we're good for now.

Jordana is 8 months and still in the infant seat. I think its getting time to move her. With the heavy winter coat, its so hard to close.
I am keeping her in it as long as possible because we take it in cabs a lot and switch cars so often thats its so much easier. I am not looking forward to her "graduation" day.
