ING account ladies... In here...

Have you gotten any paperwork from them yet on the interest paid on your account?

I got one from BOA for my closed savings account but not from ING. Theire website says it should be received "soon" or something like that.

I want to put in my taxes already!! Chat Icon

DH printed it off of the computer. I didn't even realize they sent paperwork. Can you make a request?

What they said! Chat Icon

The site says it was mailed but if you haven't recieved it you can download it.

I think the first part was a bold faced lie because I don't know ANYONE who got it in the mail!!

Re: ING account ladies... In here...

Serves me right for listening to DH. I just looked at the site and it says:

"All 2006 paper tax forms have been mailed."

But, right after that, it says:

"If you're eligible and haven't received yours yet, login and click on the 'Tax Info' icon to find out how to get it online now!"

Thanks ladies. Looks like if you want it done right...

It's a tiny dropdown on the top of that page.

And you have to make sure you allow pop-ups or else it won't pop-up the form for you.

Re: ING account ladies... In here...

While I was there, I was reading about the Electric Orange checking account.

I love the idea of a paperless system but my landlord isn't going for that. And you still need a non-ING linked checking account.

And the ATM's, while convenient distance wise, are in non-convenient places. Like the supermarket.

But you make interest on the money in the checking account. That's kinda cool.

I know. I was thinking of using it as a supplemental one for the checks I know can be electronic (mortgage, car payments, etc.)

Re: ING account ladies... In here...

Yeah, that doesn't really make much sense to me though because we don't have that many bills we pay by check.

Maybe when we become homeowners, that will change. But it seems silly to transfer money from one checking account to another. And it says nothing about direct deposit - I wonder if it's even possible to DD into the ING account.
