Insect Repellent

DH and I are headed to the tropics for our little babymoon next weekend, and I will need to use some insect repellent.

I was thinking of buying the OFF's family version and just spraying on my clothes instead of my skin.

Do you ladies have a better option?

i used OFF once or twice during my third trimester, but in general, i believe you should stay away from products containing DEET. i agree with the above posters, i would try something more natural. have fun!!

Re: Insect Repellent

My mother always gets bitten by insects when she wears repellant...but she has figured out that if she puts the Honeysuckle lotion on from Bath and Body Works, bugs will not bite her.

She swears by it, and it might be a good option for you since you are preggo. Have fun on vacation!

Thanks again. I had forgotten about the Skin so soft, and did not know about the honeysuckle.

Burt's Bees makes an all natural insect repellent as does Kiss My Face. You can get both brands at Whole Foods. They smell nice too!
