Inspire me...(toddler food related)
Im in a bit of a rut when it comes to kid friendly veggie ideas...
Anyone have any cool ideas? Im looking for finger foods that he can feed himself...
Lately all it's been are:
French "fries" Sweet Potato "fries" "fried" zuccinni & squash
Plus all the bland plain veggies, which he'll eat a few bites of but then is like blech...(I dont blame him)
He's got 8 teeth so he can tear foods well he just doesnt have his molars so I need gum friendly foods too..
TIA

My kids aren't huge veggie eaters, but they like broccoli florets. We call them "baby trees." Also, they enjoy eating corn on the cob, though that's not exactly a finger food.

How about cooked carrots? They are sort of sweet.

Re: Inspire me...(toddler food related)
Cauliflower "mashed potatoes" you mash the cauliflower and add some butter and salt to taste. It's very good! Cauliflower boil to soften, then drain, put in a greased baking dish and sprinkle with bread crumbs, a little bit of garlic powder and a drizzle of melted butter. Broccoli with a lemon vinaigrette on it. Take the juice of one lemon, some olive oil and salt, whisk until it emulsifies and pour over chilled cooked broccoli. Ava LOOOOOVES this! Mashed carrots with some cinnamon and brown sugar mixed in. Ava thinks it's sweet potatoes. You could actually mix the sweet potatoes and the carrots if he doesn't like carrots. He'll never know. Asparagus spears baked in the oven with parmasian sprinkled on it. Grilled zucchini Let me know if there are any specific veggies you want to use and I'll tell you if I have a good toddler recipe
