A few months back, I called my insurance company and received my authorization # for my delivery. I called a few days ago to make sure everything was in order for my insurance as to not get hit with some mysterious bill after delivery. Everything seemed to be in order.

The other day at work, we were discussing this and one of my co-workers is under her husband's insurance and said that she ended up paying $5,000 for her epidural because the anesthesiologist wasn't covered under her insurance! Chat Icon

Needless to say, I will be calling again to inquire about this kind of thing. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this happening to anyone else?
