Insurance Question
Looking for some advice, since I don't want to "cut off my nose despite my face."
I made a change to my car insurance and I am not happy with the premium increase. Now, I have my 2 cars and home insurance through this insurance company.
I got a quote from different insurance company, which was better. Now, I am considering changing the insurance for that car and maybe even my other car.
Now, if I drop my car insurance but keep my home owner's insurance, I am risking have my homeowner's insurance dropped? I know the plight many are having getting homeowner's insurance on LI and I don't want to save a few bucks now on car insurance and get dropped/slammed for homeowners because of it.
Any advice?

Re: Insurance Question
Why would your homeowners be dropped? Because you are removing your cars? or due to being in a coastal area?
The rate will increase since you are removing your cars and loose a multi line discount.

Re: Insurance Question
I recall hearing or reading somewhere that companies will only insure if they are providing all of your insurance. If that is the case, I was nervous about canceling the car insurance. I just wanted to know if anyone had experience with this or if anyone canceled car insurance without it affecting their homeowners.

State Farm.
The company will not cancel your home if you pull cars away.
