Re: Interesting article in Newsday today....
It's so sad. I almost feel like a heel, being in the market right now and exploiting the slow market. But I think that the prices are just evening out with the rest of the country. It's not that they're so low, they're just more comparable with other places than they used to be.
Too bad taxes can't be in a slump too.

I know, it is sad. Although, I suppose when you buy from someone in a slow market, you are helping them out indirectly also. It's sad people just can't afford their homes any longer. I suppose some people took out mortgages that were too large, but others may have had changes to their circumstances.

Re: Interesting article in Newsday today....
well, don't feel too sad about the market in general, becuase a good portion of people selling are just going to buy a home somewhere else.... The market had to re-equilibrate becuase it was artificially inflated
I do feel bad for the short sales homeowners, though.....
