"Interviewing" new OB for high risk
Since my regular OB wouldn't take me on as a patient, i had to find a new dr. I have two apts and the first one is next week (the second not until the end of the month - thanks Jen!!!!).
Are there certain questions I should consider asking? I really don't know if my experience will be any different knowing that it's twins but I want to make sure I have all my bases covered.

Re: "Interviewing" new OB for high risk
I never interviewed my new OB. I just went with who my RE suggested. A couple of questions I would ask or would check on is..
1. What hospital he/she is affiliated with. You want to make sure it has a good NICU.
2. If you want to try to deliver vaginally, ask if he/she will do that. My ob would not allow it - only c-sections for twins
3. Who does he/she have helping in the delivery room if a c-section. My OB had one doctor that assisted him - not the resident on the floor. That was important to me.
I can't really think of anything else. This weren't my first babies so I kind of knew what I wanted and what I didn't and my ob was great.

Thanks!
These are my first (and probably only LOL) so I have no clue!
I already know both dr's are associated with North Shore since I was told this was the best hospital in terms of NICU.
