New Siding for High Ranch
Hello! I got a quote for siding only, shake in front only. I have a regular high ranch. 13,000 Does this sound high? It doesnt include windows or roof. Thanks!

Sounds about right, but I would shop around. I think we were quoted $10k for our Hi-Ranch.

I think we got a much cheaper quote from Sears. It may have been like $7k. I would definitely try them first.

defintely high.
I got multiple quotes for my house -i have an extended hi ranch with an attached garage.
I was quoted around $15K last year for cedar impressions in the front and regular clapboard around the rest of the house.
Prices may have gone up since then though.

Thanks The thing is that the contractor is a friend or a friend and lives a few blocks from us so it may be worth it to may a little more. I guess it sounds in the ballpark. Thanks again!
