INterviews with multiple people
When you meet with 8 people over a two hour interview process, what is the thank you note protocol? Can I just send to the two main people? Or do I have to send a note to everyone?

I would just address it to the 2 main people. But then within the note reference everyone by saying something like "It was a pleasure to meet all of you".

I would write individual thank yous to everyone I met.
I've done it before..it's a PIA but worth it.
It matters. It also makes people feel good about the time they spent interviewing you.

Always send it to each person. If they sat in on the interview, they are part of the committee that is going to decide if you should be hired. You don't want some people in the process to be offended that you didn't think they were important enough to receive a thank you. People talk, you don't want that type of thing to be the reason you don't get hired. Take the time, and do it the right way.
