Introducing my little one!!!
On March 6 ( due date) my water broke after using the bathroom at 5am.... called in sick for what should have been my last day of work.
No contractions all day- went to hosp. on drs orders at 5pm- cervadil at 9pm and then the baby's heart rate dropped. dr decided on c-section... so after 9 mos of  at 11:06 pm we heard
"Its a girl!!!" We were shocked but thrilled! everyone swore we were having a boy based on my belly. So ladies- don't listen to the old wives tales ok? 
so here she is: Isabella Rose

Congratulations. She's adorable.
Almost same thing happened to me, my water broke at 5am but my Dr told me to come in at 9am with no contractions. Contractions only started once they gave me pitocin and I also had to have a CS due to the heart beat dropping once.
