Inviting kids from preschool to party?
I'm trying to plan a birthday party for my daughter. She'll be 3.
We don't have many friends with children. Would it be weird to invite kids from her preschool and/or dance class?

Not at all. When my son started pre school he received an invitation almost every month from one of the kids. I would just ask your DD and see who she would like there.

No once DD started preschool we invited those friends as well as the friends she has grown up with.

Not at all, we just got back a couple of hours ago from a birthday party for a little girl in DD's daycare class. Today was the first time I met the mom!

not at all!!! we are, our DD is turning 3 next month so she is getting 2 parties on same day- with all friends at once upon a tree top- 33 kids, and then later that afternoon all family is coming about 40 guests. I just cant have all the kids in my home would be way too much so kid party at a place and then family at home

I have met almost all my local friends through DS's pre-school parties! It is a nice way to get to know your DC's class mates and meet the moms!

I invited 4 kids from DD's class to her party. They all came and seemed to really appreciate the invite.
