IPOD FM Transmitter...
Does anyone have a good FM transmitter they use with their IPOD in their cars?? I bought a belkin one It stinks! You hear static all the time & it is constantly loosing the station...
Please help!

None of them work really well on LI- There are too many radio stations, not enough empty airspace.
I have a Belkin one also, although different from that because its a few years old. It s*cks on LI, but works great on my long drives back and forth to LI in the middle of nowhere PA.

I just bought one (not sure who makes it) for DH for Christmas and it works great. It even works right over popular channels like 104.3. I got it in one of those booths in the middle of the mall. It plugs into the cigarette lighter. The battery powered one that he had stunk.

it really depends what local stations are near you..its not receiver fault as a radio station has a more powerful anntena then your trasmitter...u may want to use a different channel...
i use 2 channels...on instance when i drive though bay shore, 1 defualt channel sometimes getting the other station so i have 2 that i use...
