Oh - well, actually they have it at Costco too, and its bigger.
I'm just concerned that the chaise may look dated in a few years. But my husband is pretty good at destroying furniture quickly - so that may not actually end up being a problem.

I like the one from Fortunoff better. A couch gets destroyed after a few years, unless it is hardly ever used. We are actually going to go to Fortunoff know, to look at that couch.

Here's a pic. It's kind of hard to make out in this pic, but there are two seats and a chase lounge..
It was too large, so I put it in my album..

Re: Is $1000 an average price for a couch?
it's nice, but keep in mind that most furniture is made in the same place (NC) so you can probably shop it around (get the model number and such) and get a better deal. Fortunoff's furniture is pricey, IMO.
I fell in love with a sectional from Jen Covert. Then I was in another store on 110 looking at bedroom furniture and the guy got me the exact same couch for about $300 less. It's a two piece microfiber sectional w/ a queen sleeper. I think it was about $900 or so.

I personally would stay away from Jen Convert. It's a really hit and miss. I had MAJOR quality problems with them as well as so MANY other people.
They have LOTS to complaints with the Attorney General.

My friends have that exact couch from Fortunoff and the chase is convertible. By that I mean that the bottom part of the chaise is not permanently attached and they gave them a small cushion is case they every want to covert back to a regular couch instead of having the chaise. It's really nice.
