So what I've been trying to figure out is if 5:30 is a normal wake up time? She goes to bed at 7:30. She wakes up at 5:30, I feed her and then we get out of bed around 6.

Is this normal?

DD used to sleep until 7:30. G-d how I miss those days.

IMO that is early. I can't tell you the last time my daughter did that. I get up at 5:45 and unless she wasn't feeling well it was rare that I saw my daughter last year before I left for work at 7. Our daughter went to bed at 8

I hate to say it, but its normal for our household. Noah wakes up anytime between 5.40 and 7.00. Mostly he wakes up at around 6.20ish, but he does wake up at 5.30 on occasion!!!

DD sleeps usually between 6 and 7 but for a while she was waking up btwn 5:30 and 6. They keep changing, so hopefully she will start sleeping in for you again!

Yes, 5:30 is a very normal wake up time for a 1 year old. Fortunately it may change on its own, but I wouldn't try to force it.

We went through a phase like that (& sometime still do).
Alex goes to bed around 7:30pm, sometimes wakes at 5:30, I don't go in & get her, she'll usually go back to sleep... if she's crying a LOT, I try to bring her in bed w/ me b/c 5:30 is WAY too early for me- not gonna happen! She'll usually go back to sleep for a bit longer in my bed.
I hope it's just a phase for you!!!Chat Icon

I thank-God my kids never thought so. You can try putting her to bed a 1/2 hour later & see if that works.

Yes....its unfortunate, but a very common phase that kids go through. Jack did it and it was miserable but eventually got better
