Is Allegra ok? update if anyone is curious
My allergies are HORRIBLE!!!!!
My DH takes Allergra. It's the only thing we have. Ok, so if it's not ok, please tell me what is.
I forgot.

Called doc- he said no allegra and only clariton D.

It definitely depends on your Dr 
Mine was OK with Zyrtec, but nothing else. (zyrtec is a Class B drug)
Allegra might be stronger because it's Rx.
this is on the allegra site:
Before using Allegra, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs, or if you have kidney disease.
FDA pregnancy category C. This medication may be harmful to an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment. It is not known whether this medication passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use Allegra without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby. Allegra tablets and capsules may be used to treat seasonal allergy symptoms in children who are at least 6 years old. Allegra oral suspension (liquid) may be used in children ages 2 through 11. When treating chronic idiopathic urticaria, the liquid may be used in children as young as 2 months old.

My OB said Allegra is ok. It's also a Class B drug. But make sure the dosage is correct - I was told to take a lower dosage. for allergy suffering!

My dr. said no allegra -- it is a class C
Benadryl, Claritin and Zyrtec are all class B and he was OK with me taking them

My Doctor said no to allegra but okay claratin - but all my OBs have said NO to any of the D's (claratin D etc).

I came in this post thinking you were asking about Viagra!!! I was like what the? Why would? Huh?! 
Glad you found your answer. I take my inhalers (approved by OB) when I have allergy/asthma episode so I'm not familiar with the pills.
