Is anyone else cooking today?
We had a free turkey from Zorn's and both DH and I are off of work today so I'm doing Thanksgiving all over again (we went to my sister's yesterday) for me, DH, DD and my FIL.

Yea - we do 'our' turkey today. We goto the MIL's every year for Thanksgiving, and her turkey is horrible. (Hers was so dry and shredded that there were not pieces bigger than a quarter.)
So we've been brining for the past 36 hours and just put our turkey in the oven. But we do it real simple, just corn and stove top.
We also have dessert for tonight, as yesterday MIL decided not to get any, and they didn't tell anyone to bring anything... so we had no dessert yesterday.

Today is my husband's birthday - and I didn't cook yesterday - so I am cooking! I am making steak and crab legs with broccoli, potato wedges and corn.
Yum.

Meee..We went out yesterday and I wanted my own goodies. So, I made a spiral ham, home made stuffing and sweet potatoes and a salad!!
