Is anyone going to the rally?NYC
The UFT is holding a rally on Wednesday. I'm just curious about what they are fighting, since jobs have been saved.
I know that there are many budget cut issues, but the funds are limited due to the economy, so what is it that they are trying to achieve?
Any thoughts?

I think there are still issues about layoffs- that they could still happen. Bloomy will yank us around till the last possible second.
I love rallies. I may go to this one- but I have a field trip that day and those usually do me in.

I think that the rally is to try and stop some of the cuts to education due to the economy.
