The deli near me uses actual bleu cheese crumbles in the dressing though. They add it in later, and I don't trust them not too if I ask.
Maybe I'll get some frozen ones on the way home & have it for dinner. If I still crave it by then

I am with ya, I love buffalo wings! And what's funny is that I am not a fan of blue cheese, but I love it on my wings!
I used to dip just a tiny tiny bit once in awhile to get the taste with my wings.
My number one thing i wanted to do after iwas done bf'ng was to get Buffalo wings and beer from hooters, That's out now since I am pg again!!!

Re: Is Bleu Cheese a no-no?
I know its not quite the same but what I have done when I have gotten buffalo wings is ask for ranch dressing instead. It does the trick and satisfies the craving!!

so Feta is only ok if it is bought in the UK? This is all so confusing.

My doctor told me yesterday that soft cheese were out ONLY if they were not pasturized. I could eat blue cheese etc IF it was pasturized. You could check the bottles and see if they say pasturized on the blue cheese bottles.

Yes, exactly. i was just going to write this. There are certain brands of feta, bleu cheese, etc. that are pasteurized and are fine to eat. It is only the UNpasteurized ones you need to be concerned about. There is a Greek restaurant by me that uses only pasteurized feta so I get Greek salads from there all the time.

That article was written in the UK. It was for the UK babycenter -not the US one (says at the top of the webpage). You can eat feta cheese here if it is pasturized. The labels will tell you or check with a restaurant that you trust.
