Re: Is Chipotle safe?
I was eating the steak salad there 2-3 times a week in the beginning of my pregnancy! After a few incidents, I stopped eating there. Too risky IMO, especially being pregnant. I still crave it every day though, and I don't crave anything

Same! I never ate it that often but I've craved a burrito bowl recently (and I haven't had cravings either!) but just won't risk it being pregnant. I'm sure if I weren't pregnant, I'd eat it right now.

Re: Is Chipotle safe?
I rarely eat Chipotle, but do enjoy it once in awhile. I woudn't eat there right now though. I'm not going to permanently avoid it, but I'll wait awhile before my next trip.

Re: Is Chipotle safe?
Becasue of what's been going on, ALL Chipotles will be closed for several hours on February 8th, to address food safety concerns. I would wait until sometime after that to eat there again.
Cipotle to close down

Re: Is Chipotle safe?
I've had it and I've fed it to my kids. I thought the problem was isolated in other states though at the time.
I do not think I'd give it to them right now though.. Even though all my kids eat is the rice and beans and cheese quesadillas so not that risky.
I did notice there was no cilantro in the rice and also the steak which is usually pink was well done.
I do plan on eating there again. We love it and won't eat at most fast food places. I love that they are GMO free

Ive had it several times over the last few weeks with no issues. In fact I like it better as the lines are now much shorter!
ITA! I haven't stopped eating it and it's nice that the lines are a little shorter now.
After reading some articles about it, I do believe there is some sort of corporate sabotage going on (in retaliation for their anti-gmo stance). Especially since the CDC hasn't been able to nail down the source of the contamination after all this time.
I've been saying the same thing!

I'm just curious how this would work. Like people on the inside deliberately not enforcing health guidelines or something? I thought the norovirus outbreaks were pretty much caused by one sick employee coming to work when he/she shouldn't have

Is Chipotle safe?
It totally grosses me out. When I was pregnant (3rd trimester) I got really sick from the Buritto Bowl. I mean out of commission for days. Haven't been back even 5 months postpartum.
