is Femara similar to clomid?

Yes, I was on it this cycle and had two large follies.
It is a breast cancer drug, but is now used by many REs for IF. It is supposed to have less side effects than clomid and lower chance of multiples. The only issue is that insurance companies don't typically cover it. Though, I don't think mine was too expensive for just the few pills I needed (I took 2 at bedtime days 3-7).

I didn't have any side effects on it (it made me tired right after I took it, but since it was at night, it didn't matter) and, as I said, I responded to it.

I searched for it online with something like "Femara and infertility" and found a bit of info.
